Logovarda - the largest monastery and one of the most revered shrines of the Greek island of Paros, which is visited annually by thousands of believers from all over the world. It is located about 5 km north-east of the island's capital - the city of wigs.

The monastery was founded in 1638 by the monk Paleologos of Naoussa and is dedicated to the Virgin Zoodochos Pigi. The spectacular snow-white monastery built in the traditional Cycladic style and looks like a well-fortified fortress. The monastery also has excellent Logovarda library with an excellent collection of unique manuscripts and an impressive collection of books, among which are many very rare and valuable pieces.

In 1930, the monastery became the spiritual son of St. Nectarios of Aegina - Elder lavished Zervakos, widely known for its high spirituality and good deeds during his lifetime. It was he who made sure that many children from poor families Paros able to get a decent education. During the Second World War, the monks Logovarda led by his mentor provides support to members of the national resistance and its allies. Thanks to his father Felofeyu were also freed 125 prisoners sentenced to death.
