Architectural Reserve in the village of Shiroka Luka is located in the Rhodopes, 16 km from the resort of Pamporovo and 23 from the town of Smolyan.

The base Shiroka Luka belongs to the XVII century, and the name of the village comes from the ancient Bulgarian word "bark", which means bending. The architectural appearance of the village is a magnificent example of the Bulgarian Renaissance, and is thriving folk music culture, which, coupled with the picturesque places attracts many tourists.
