Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art is one of the best museums in Ukraine. It is on the street. Pushkinskaya, 9.

Museum such a profile has been created in the palace in 1923 Abaza Its exposition is made up of private collections that have been collected by local Committee of National Heritage and the Arts. The building, which occupies the museum is an architectural monument. This palace was built in 1856-1858 gg. designed by the famous architect L. Otto. The architecture of the palace is solved in the spirit of eclecticism: Baroque style coexists with elements of Empire style and Rococo. Interior construction is characterized by rich stucco decorations and unique carvings and bronze fittings. The most interesting part of the building is a lobby with a grand staircase.

The two-story building of the museum has twenty-three rooms, in which there is exposure in Ancient, Oriental and Western European art. On the ground floor of the museum is the ancient department, which symbolizes the role of the ancient artistic heritage of European culture. Next, taking all three rooms, placed the department of Oriental Art. On the second floor of the palace collections of European art objects, which included painting, sculpture and decorative arts.
