Awash - the highest point (234 m above sea level) Miskolc is a hill of volcanic origin, rising to 104 meters above the city. Since ancient Hungarian name of the hill means "forbidden," since in the bowels of the hill were equipped with wine cellars and grazing over them pose a danger to them. According to the project in the middle of Balint Seghalmi proshlogoveka Awash on the hill it was built a wooden tower, reminiscent of church architecture. In 1956, during the revolution, it was destroyed by Soviet soldiers.
