Tashhan - an old coaching inn for travelers, located about ten kilometers from the city center and is estimated his age to the 16th century. Tashhan or "Stone inn", as well as the aqueduct is considered one of the main historical attractions of Marmaris. Both buildings were built in 1522. This traditional caravanserai met traders, explorers and conquerors that passed through this region.

Now here it is a little reminiscent of those distant times, when traders took refuge there from the piratical raids. Caravanserai symbolizes the hospitality of Marmaris. It hosts a variety of cultural activities for tourists, the colorful music and dance shows, there are small cafes, shops selling souvenirs, which will be a wonderful reminder of visiting Marmaris.

The upper part of the inn is surrounded by graceful arches, and he is on a narrow street leading to the castle. Erected in Merzifonskom area in a typical Ottoman architectural style, rectangular in plan, a caravanserai consists of one large and seven small rooms. This is a great place for tourists.
