Church of St. Panteleimon - is one of the places of worship and architectural attractions of the capital of Moldova - Chisinau. It is located in the heart of the city among the old trees with lush canopy, and this attracts a lot of tourists.

The temple, built in 1891 in neo-Byzantine style is an amazing architectural monument of the nineteenth Art. The author of the project was the famous architect A. Bernardazzi. A year after the construction of the church became one of the architectural structures, which have been marked as a social value. Money for the construction of the monastery were donated honorary citizens of Chisinau brothers John and Victor Synadino.

The main feature of the building of the temple is its shape in the form of a cross with equal-branches, as well as a pair of intersecting interconnected arches spanning the space of the central part of the church building. The unusual beauty of the Church gives light octagonal drum dome completed. The basis for most of the drum are those intersecting arches. The second dome adorns the bell tower of the church.

Of particular interest is its unusual facade cladding - masonry was laid horizontal stripes, where two white stones alternating with strips of dark stripe. In addition, the building of the church of St. Panteleimon decorate decorative columns, colored glass windows and vestibule. In the 60s of the twentieth century. in the building of the temple housed a wine tasting room. In 1991 the monastery was returned to the Church. In 1992 the church was again operational.
