N.Fokea - a picturesque resort town in Kassandra (Halkidiki). It is located on the northeast coast of Kassandra about 40 km south of Polygyros and 80 km from Thessaloniki. The settlement was founded in 1922 by immigrants from the village of Foca in eastern Thrace. Actually here and occurred its name as "N.Fokea" literally translates as "New Foca."

Today N.Fokea - a popular resort. Beautiful beaches combined with crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Kassandra and the picturesque surroundings and a well-developed infrastructure attract thousands of tourists. The choice of housing in N.Fokea very diverse. Here there is plenty of comfortable hotels and apartments. You can also lodge in camping or stay. In numerous taverns and restaurants you can relax and enjoy traditional Greek cuisine. Special attention is, of course, deserve the fresh fish and seafood.

Sandy beach N.Fokea perfectly organized. If necessary, you can take here hire deck chairs and sun umbrellas, as well as to take advantage of showers. In the harbor N.Fokea you can rent a boat and take a fascinating boat trip along the picturesque coast of the Kassandra peninsula.

The main attraction of Nea Fokea are perfectly preserved Byzantine tower, built in 1407, and the small chapel of St. Paul, an underground passage that leads from the cave to the holy source, where according to legend the apostle Paul secretly baptized believers.
