Photo: City Hall
One of the most impressive sights of Gyor - Town Hall with a beautiful high central tower. This fine example of eclectic architecture built in accordance with plans Hübner between 1896 to 1898 years, admire its stone columns and arched windows and high quality masonry. The building has more than 200 offices and rooms used by the city council, and periodically for the organization of concerts.
The building is characterized by a well-organized internal space. The spacious foyer leads to the second floor staircase to the assembly hall. This is not only a place of meetings of the Council, but also a hall for organ concerts - a great tool was brought to Győr from the Budapest Academy of Music.
