  The first church settled in 1627, the year in Győr Jesuits was constructed during the 1634-1641 biennium. Drawing Baccio del Bianco in the manner of the Roman Church II Gesu. By 1667 already stood a monastery and a school. Towers church belong to the 18th century. After the temporary collapse of the Jesuit order the building became the property of the Benedictine Order (1802). The interior of the church is satisfied with the early Baroque. Aisles were painted in the mid-18th century by Paul Troger, a recognized master of Vienna: the main picture of the altar and the sanctuary ceiling.
