Luxury villa building "Imperial" is familiar to all guests of the resort Franzensbad. Holiday house, built in a city park, now continues to receive visitors, "Imperial" turned into a luxury hotel.

Multi-storey building in the neo-Renaissance style appeared in the park in the years 1877-1878. It was built by the architect Charles Viderman. Land allotted for the construction of a new holiday house was large and very picturesque. Master Thomas Wolf, examined him, proposed the use of the available land more efficiently: the section would fit as many as three houses and not one house. But city officials have not supported the idea, fearing disturbances from the owners of the city hotels. Therefore, in one of the most intimate corners of Frantiskovy Lazne it appeared only one "Imperial", that only made it more attractive for holidaymakers.

The resort house stayed many famous personalities. So, it is in the halls of the hotel met the heir to the Habsburg Karl Franz Joseph and his bride - the representative of the Bourbon dynasty.

Villa "Imperial" is surrounded by the amazing beauty of the park, which in the XIX century was called Morning. Now it is a city park, it is allowed to walk on everyone, not just hotel guests.
