Geological Museum of Budapest, is the main museum of geology in Hungary. It is located on the street Stephanie in the western part of Pest.

  The museum building was designed by Odon Lechner in 1896 and originally belonged to the Hungarian Geological Society, which was established in 1869, the year. Charter establishing it was signed by Franz Joseph.

  Geological Museum Collection consists of minerals, prehistoric impressions, contains general information about the geology and history, and an exhibition dedicated to the architect of the building, Odon Lechner.
