The site of the fortress wall, which protects the church Matthias side of the Danube, traditionally guarded workshop fishermen. At this point in 1901, was built in the Neo-Romanesque style stood the Fishermen's Bastion, which offers a wonderful view of the Danube and Pest. In one of the courtyards bastion stands a statue of St. Stephen the King, and the other is for the Hilton Hotel, in an ensemble that includes organically medieval monastery of the Dominicans. Wives of fishermen in the Middle Ages were selling their products here, and now you will see traders souvenirs musicians.
