Jean Moulin - one of the heroes of World War II, the French Resistance and colleague Charles de Gaulle. The main merit of Jean Moulin is that with his help managed to unite disparate groups and form a single underground resistance movement. Before the war, Jean Moulin served as prefect of Chartres, in 1943 he was arrested by the Gestapo and died from torture. Resistance hero was buried in the cemetery of Pere la Chaise, and in 1964 his ashes were transferred to the Pantheon - the tomb of prominent citizens of France.
