Stobskie pyramids are among the most popular tourist objects of nature in Bulgaria. They are located near the village of Stob, in southwestern Rila Mountains. These pyramids, together with the nearby locality of 7, 4 hectares were officially called natural attraction.
The width of the base of the pyramids is 30-40 m and the height of the average - 6-10m (in some places - 12 m). Some of them are acute forms like spiers, others in the form of pyramids or cones, at the end are "cap stone", so Stobskie pyramid look like mushrooms. In addition, their base is quite broad, sometimes linked.

Just look prettier pyramid at sunset or in the moonlight. This attraction of nature is not as famous as the pyramids of Melnik, although we can say that Stobskie pyramid still have a more diverse and beautiful forms.
Tourists can see the creations of nature near the village of Stob top up the special ecotrail. In addition, you can walk and along the country road that winds near the mountains along the beautiful river. It offers a picturesque view of the surroundings: the river, the so-called Rila trough approaches to the local monastery, and the snow-capped mountains.
