The main attraction of Bern, its symbol - the belfry Tsaytglokenturm (XII century.), Once served as the western gate of the old city. Once the bell tower was a defensive tower with walls 3 meters thick, the shape of which has undergone many changes as a result of mutations in the XV-XVIII centuries. The eastern facade of the tower is decorated with the famous clock work Caspar Brunner. The clock shows not only the time but also the day of the week, month, zodiac sign, and moon phase. Every hour of the rooster crows and bears appear figures and fairy creatures.
