Palace - the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines, located in Baguio. The majestic palace building was built in 1908 at the urging of former Governor-General William Cameron Forbes as a summer residence. He gave her name in honor of his estate in the US state of New England. During the Second World War the palace was severely damaged and was almost completely rebuilt in 1947. Since then, it hosts working office of the President during his visit in Baguio.

Over the years, the Palace hosts various international events, for example, in 1947 there was held a meeting of the Economic Council of the United Nations Asia and Far East, in 1948 - a meeting of the World Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and in 1950 hosted the meeting of members of the Association of South East Asia, better known as the Conference of Baguio. In the Palace hosts regular themed international conferences.

The palace consists of a main building, built on a grand scale, and a more modest guest house. It is said that the main gate of cast iron on the model of the main gate of Buckingham Palace in London. To get to the Palace of the usual tourist, of course, impossible, but you can visit the small palace museum, which stores personal belongings of former Philippine presidents.

Right in front of the Palace Park located Wright, where you can ride horses and ponies. And the surrounding hills are lined with luxury villas, which spend their vacation wealthy residents of Manila.
