The magnificent mausoleum complex built in the style of ancient Anatolian and Hittite ages, it combines both ancient and modern architectural features. Finishing mausoleum columns and sculptures of lions was made of white travertine, delivered from County Pınarbaşı Kayseri region. The memorial plate on the sides were lined with white marble brought from the region of Afyon. The construction of the complex of the Mausoleum of Ataturk is composed of three parts: the central alley with lions, ceremonial square and the mausoleum itself.
