The Japanese are so fond of instant noodles ramen that even dedicated a museum to this dish. It opened in March 1994 and is located in Shin-Yokohama.
The museum has appeared thanks to the initiative of Nissin Foods, which produces such foodstuffs. The opening of the museum was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the release of the company's first package of "fast" noodles. The concept of the museum lies in the fact that in one place visitors can try all kinds of noodle dishes and options additives to it, learn its various flavors gathered from all over Japan. They now can order a bowl of noodles with various additives - bean sprouts, seafood, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and vegetables. These restaurants offer nine varieties of noodles, cooked according to traditional recipes.
