Kabilensky Monastery of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary - a female Orthodox monastery, located one kilometer from the village of Kabila and six kilometers from the town of Yambol.

At the end of the ancient period of the history of the Bulgarian state (s. IV-V cc.) Kabila was a large and an important religious center. During the reign of Constantine the Great, near the municipality built a monastery. Even then, the holy abode of fame for healing sources located on its territory. According to legend, the emperor's mother, the holy Empress Helen, repeatedly sent people to the monastery for possessing miraculous properties of water.

The convent is an action before the attack on the Turks to Bulgaria at the end of the XIV century. The monastery was destroyed and come to desolation. However, memories of the healing power of a local source continued to live in the legends. For donations of local residents at the beginning of the XIX century on the site erected a small chapel and later a monastery. Construction began in 1919 and ended in 1944.

Currently, the monastery is acting. All wishing Visitors can take a dip in the water of the healing spring and check it out for yourself the miraculous power.
