Banana Beach - one of the most popular and beautiful beaches of the Greek island of Skiathos. It is located on the southwest coast of the island in a beautiful, literally immersed in green natural bay, about 12 km from Skiathos Town and 1 km from the center of the famous beach Koukounaries. Despite the fact that this place is better known as "Banana Beach" beach officially is called "Crassus," but today it is almost never used.

Banana Beach, in fact, consists of two separate magnificent beaches with fine golden sand separated by a rocky formation - the so-called Big and Little Banana. Both beaches are well organized. Here you will find sun beds and sun umbrellas, several beach bars and taverns where you can cool off with a great meal, and plenty of entertainment. Banana Beaches are one of the largest water sports facilities on the island of Skiathos. It is also one of the best places on the island for windsurfing.

Big Banana, or just bananas, famous for its beach parties, and is extremely popular (especially among youth), so there is always crowded and noisy. Loud music is hardly subsided from morning until late evening.

Little Banana - a quiet and secluded beach, but has its own specifics. This is the only official nudist beach of Skiathos and one of the most famous nude beaches not only in Greece but also in Europe.

In the vicinity of the beach you will not find housing, but we can accommodate in a nearby Koukounaries.

To the north of Banana Beach is another wonderful beach of Skiathos - the beach of St. Helena.
