Museum Arktikum - is both a museum and research center dedicated to the study of the Arctic and northern regions. Here are the history, lifestyle and culture, traditions and life of the people living in the Arctic Circle. Under the amazingly beautiful roof Arktikum, where the Arctic Research Centre and Regional Museum of Lapland, hosts a permanent exhibition showing the nature of the harshest places in the past and today. While visiting the museum, you can see the Northern Lights in the Arctic theater specially built to demonstrate this phenomenon.
