The area is famous for the Silesian Ostrava not only a magnificent building of one of the city's main theater, named after the Antonin Dvorak, and the fairgrounds "Black Louka" (translated from the Czech - "Black Meadow"), which consists of several buildings. On an area of 9300 square meters. carried out various kinds of fairs and exhibitions, conferences and meetings, conferences and seminars.
The main building complex is considered to be a building built in 1960. Much later it was attached to the new hall, equipped with underground parking. These adjacent rooms for conferences, as well as 6 administrative buildings. The whole complex covers an area of 6 hectares.
The name of the fairgrounds can be easily explained. Even in the XIX century in the Silesian Ostrava held fairs, which sold any domestic animals.
