Palace of the Marquis of Fronteira is located in the northeastern part of the city, near the park Monsanto. The building, built in 1640, is one of the most beautiful residences in Lisbon. The old chapel of the end of the XVI century is a Christmas nativity scene. It is believed that the nativity scene is made one of the greatest Portuguese sculptors of all time - Machado de Castro.
