Lijiang - the river, originating in the north-east of Guilin, the mountain peaks Maoershan in Sinan. It flows into the river in the province of Si Wuzhou. The total length of the river - 400 km, and from Guilin to Yangshuo its length is 83 km. In Lijiang River is also a second name - Guyshuy. It is believed that in ancient times the two rivers - Xiang and Lijiang - took its start from a common source, but one carried the water to the north, while the other ran to the south.

Along the river are concentrated the largest and most spectacular karst deposits. For two shores is a total of about forty thousand low mountains and a variety of unusual shapes: reminiscent of the screen, camels, elephants, bamboo thickets and others.

The shape of Lijiang closest to the tape, framed by mountains and peaks, which is especially noticeable in the area from Guilin to Yangshuo. At the bend of Lijiang is the town Xingping. At 13 kilometers from upstream can be found the key attractions of the river.

Li River is also part of a unified water system another equally famous river - the Pearl. Depending on the time of year, tourists are invited to take a cruise on the Lijiang length of 50 to 83 kilometers. The route runs from Guilin to Yangshuo village familiar with the natural and architectural attractions of ancient China.

During this trip, tourists have the opportunity to see the most interesting places located near the river: the legendary Buffalo Gorge, crows cave, the famous mountain "Nine horseshoes" and "yellow sheet", Xingping town, famous for its architecture, preserved from the Ming Dynasty.
