The small church of Santa Ana is located in the center of Granada, in the New Square, next to the Royal Chancellery at the foot of the Alhambra. This church was built in 1537 by the famous architect and artist at the time of Siloam Diego. Like many other churches built in that period, the church of Santa Ana was built on the site of a former Al-pit Almanzora. The minaret of the mosque, which is a beautiful and thin brick tower traditionally been preserved and rebuilt into a bell tower.

The elegant facade of the church with five chapels, the ceilings of which are made in the style of Mudejar, decorated with a magnificent portal in Plateresque. Above them is a beautiful round medallion or tondo with a relief depicting the Virgin Mary with Child.

Church of Santa Ana is a structure in which a surprising combination of styles characteristic of Moorish architecture and the architecture of the Renaissance.
