Dnepropetrovsk Music and Drama Theatre. TG Shevchenko is an architectural monument of national importance. Interesting is the fact that the building was built out by architects and S.F.Bulatselem D.N.Petravetskim as a theater and concert hall to the then existing English club. And the birth of the Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre was in 1918 in the city of Kiev as the first professional Ukrainian theater, which received the title of the State Drama Theater. In Dnepropetrovsk Theatre "received registration" only in 1927, after nine years of successful tours of the cities of Ukraine.

The seventies of the 20th century were marked for the theater renovation and improvement of its exterior. Adjacent to the theater building neighboring houses were demolished, resulting in the exposure of the built-up before the facade. This was followed by reconstruction of the building, organization and improvement of the area, located in front of him. However, despite all the innovations were very well preserved cartouches with the dates "1838" and "1913" on the front, which marks the foundation of the English club and the date of his 75th anniversary. Overlooking the newly formed area of ​​the facade of the building has a decoration in the form of sculptural triptych reflecting stages of the creative development of the theater.
