Park "del Po e del Morbasko" was founded in 1999, on the left bank of the Po River is 2 km south of Cremona. In addition to the Po River on the territory of the park there are several ponds, most of which are muddy and not very deep streams (from half a meter to a meter deep) or quiet streams with a relatively rich floristic diversity. Between them lie the dense thickets of duckweed. On the banks of the Po, and Morbasko Cavo Morta nesting mallards, moorhens, stilts, and live above the marsh warbler and shirokohvostye. The vegetation of the park is represented typical poplar groves and widespread in the plain on the trees - oaks, elms and silver willows. There are also carob trees, imported from America, and is well acclimatized in northern Italy.
I must say that the park "del Po e del Morbasko" entirely located in the municipality of Jerry de Caprioli in the vicinity of Cremona, has long been a favorite vacation spot kremontsev who come here on the weekend, to walk, ride a bike or on horseback, or just wander around the street markets. The largest population centers of the park is the town of Bosco (about 900 inhabitants) - it lies on the left bank of the River Po in front izolona. There is a long beautiful beach of the Moon, where in the summer you can enjoy a variety of sports and fishing, and in the fall and winter - watch flocks of birds.
On the border of the park is a riding center "Bugatti" architectural complex, typical of the Lombardy - farmhouse with a courtyard. The complex was built in the 18th century and today is an important example of Cremona architecture (it is remarkable brickwork and corrugated tiles). The farmstead consists of a main building, rural buildings, factory stables, stockyards, barns and huge threshing floor.
In addition, in the "Del Del Morbasko By e" you can find restaurants, taverns and picturesque pubs and clubs.
