One of the most famous European theaters located in Baden-Baden. The initiator of the construction was made by Edouard Benazhe, who at the time was a tenant of the local casino, and for the opening of the famous Theatre Hector Berlioz wrote the opera - "Beatrice and Benedict". Two terrible wars, which, as we know, did not spare many architectural monuments of Europe, spared this theater. Thus, during the First World War there was organized its own municipal band, which became known not only in Germany but also far beyond its borders. At the end of World War II, the theater was inaugurated one of the first in the country - April 20, 1946.

Today the theater in Baden-Baden, which was reconstructed in the period from 1989 to 1992, is not only a magnificent building, which is completely restored all the ornamental elements of the era, but also technically advanced facility with a mobile stage.
