The National Gallery was opened in 1976 and is located in a modern building. On the first floor there are temporary exhibitions. The second placed small collection of European art - works by El Greco, Rembrandt, Durer, Brueghel, Watteau, Cezanne and many others. The third floor housed an exhibition of contemporary Greek art, covering the period from XVIII to XX century.
