Chentebah is a left tributary of the Engshtlige flowing in the Swiss canton of Bern. Chentebaha length of 5 kilometers from the small, and the overall height difference between the source and the mouth - about 909 meters. Stream carries water, falling down from the eastern mountainside Gsyur and the southern slope of the mountain in the Bernese Alps Bodezehore or, as they are called, Bernese Predalpe. After a long journey to the north of Chentebaha water enters the Rhine.

Source Chentebaha is located at an altitude of about 2000 meters above sea level. The value of the channel is highly dependent on weather conditions. For example, during an electrical storm water levels can rise in a few hours. Before falling into Engshtlige, cholera Chentebah flows through the gorge, one of the most beautiful places in the Bernese Oberland. It is not so large, its length is only 100 meters, but it is literally filled with numerous waterfalls, watermills, water and boulders peeled - former rock fragments. You can go down into the gorge on a specially built bridge, turning into stairs leading almost to the water.

First came here a man striking how much is transformed Chentebah. How harmless it seems before the fall into the gorge, so much rage him trapped in temporary confinement of water. Anyone who wants to enjoy this miracle of nature, it is better to come here during the warmer months. In the winter, as well as in case of bad weather the gorge is closed to visitors, to protect those from possible accidents.
