Located in Valladolid Museum of Science can be called without exaggeration one of the most interesting museums, not only in Spain but also the entire world. The museum attracts a huge number of tourists and travelers from all corners of the globe.

Opening of the Museum of Science held on May 29, 2003. Original modern building of the museum was designed by architect Rafael Moneo and Enrique de Teresa, with the participation of Juan Francisco Romero and Jose Echchevari. The museum is located on the site of an old mill dating from the 19th century.

On several floors of the museum, housed exhibitions and exhibits devoted to various sciences, all kinds of natural phenomena, as well as the study of man and his life .  On one of the floors of the museum expositions dedicated to information about energy and how it is received from a variety of sources; water and its importance to life on the planet; animals living in the aquatic environment as well as chemical elements and their roles in human life .  Another floor is the visitors of the exhibition devoted to the study of neurons and nervous systems of different species of creatures .  The museum also has a permanent exhibition demonstrates the full cycle of the water cycle .  There is a museum and a planetarium incredibly interesting, in the territory of which there is a children's room where children are given the opportunity to start the study of science with games .  The museum is located monuments dedicated to Albert Einstein and Pius Ortega - known physician, is studying histology and the human nervous system . 

The museum supports the development of educational programs for adults and children, as well as promotes scientific conferences and seminars.
