Church of St. George is different from other sites in Ulm, its history is not rooted in the deep Middle Ages, but it is no less interesting. Garrison Construction of the Catholic Church lasted for 2 years, was completed in 1904 and since then the appearance and the interior of the building is almost unchanged. Restoration carried out in 1977 and 1995, were limited to repairing and upgrading. Since 1920, the Church of St. George became a parish of the Catholic, as such exists today.

The original design of architect Max Meckel Freiburg combines the features of pozdnegotichskogo style and his own unique ideas. Therefore, when you come down to us virtually unchanged, the Church of St. George was recognized as a cultural monument of special significance. This magnificent structure is a three-nave basilica with a height of 38 meters covered with tile roof. Dome unusual tower located across the entire width of the nave of the building is covered with copper and reaches a height of 68 meters. The interior of the church, rich paintings and sculptures are also made in the late Gothic style by the best masters of that time. The Catholic community in Ulm managed to preserve not only the church building, but also its unique body, established in the year of consecration of the temple.

On the appointment of the former garrison now resemble a stylized image of oak trees in the painting of the ceiling, which are symbols of "the faith of the German people."
