Forgotten Garden Plants, also known as the Garden Rasponi, located on the corner of Via and Via Rasponi Guerrini of Ravenna. This charming oasis of green, open to the public, as if hidden behind thick walls. You can get to the garden, passing through the elegant courtyard and the gates of the 18th century, designed by Camillo Moridzha. And the yard, and the gate has recently been carefully renovated and restored to its former grandeur.

The initiators of the garden were made by the local administration and the People's Bank of Ravenna (Banca Popolare di Ravenna), who decided to give the city square, where history and nature meet, and where residents and tourists can leisurely stroll and relax in the fresh air.

Especially those located between the Garden Rasponi luxurious palaces once owned by noble families of Ravenna, and the shape of its flower beds that surround the central fountain, made of wrought iron, the garden is isolated among others. For flowerbeds plants used for medicinal purposes, alternate with those that are traditionally used in Mediterranean cuisine. Thus, here near the fragrant hyssop, and you can see aquifolium holly basil, capers and oregano. A hop and lyubistik drug are combined with carrots, artichokes and chicory.

Forgotten Garden Vegetable with his magical gates - it is truly a wonderful place to surprising discoveries. Powerful walls surrounding the perimeter of the garden, muffle urban noise, literally creating a tangible magical atmosphere that complements the colors and smells of herbs. Hence, it becomes visible to the other Ravenna - on the horizon rises the dome of the Cathedral and surrounded by other historic buildings.
