Church of Our Lady of Abalak in Novosibirsk - is acting Orthodox church, which consists in the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church. It is located at the intersection of two streets - Teachers and Bohdan Khmelnytsky, near the park "Sosnovy Bor".

The project developed the temple Novosibirsk architect Peter Chernobrovtsev son Alexander Chernobrovtseva, who is the author of several city's architectural landmarks.

The parish church was founded in the autumn of 1992, originally held services in the building housing department, as well as the room of the local kindergarten. The first stone of the church was built not so long ago - in September 1994 after six years of construction of the temple was over. His solemn consecration took place in July 2000, performed the rite of consecration of St. Sergius, Bishop of Novosibirsk and Berdsk.

The first thing that strikes you when looking at the church - is its monumentality and height. The project of the church was made in the image of Russian Orthodox churches of the XVII century. - Chetyrёhstolpny, five-domed with three naves. Shining silver domes and snow-white plaster - all combine to produce a lasting impression. Above each of the inputs, you can see the icons of saints. Inside the temple is a huge number of Orthodox shrines, including icons with relics of 10 saints. Particularly attracted the attention of the elegant gate leading to the territory of the church.

On the territory of the Church of Our Lady of Abalak still ongoing construction work. It rebuilt and the bell tower, which is a little distance from the temple.

Since 1993, when the church was opened Orthodox school and a kindergarten. Also at the church operates a music school, a library and a Sunday school. Worship in the Church of Our Lady of Abalak are made daily.
