The Memorial Museum of the Second World War has a rich exposition dedicated to this major event in modern history. Most of the exhibits tells the story of the battles of 1940 and the German occupation of the region in 1940-45 years. Museum exhibits tell about the struggle at sea, land and air battles participating countries - Britain, France, Poland, Germany and Norway.
In the museum you will see photos, weapons, uniforms and other military items, including the German Navy cipher machine. Most of the exhibits in the Norwegian language, but Memorial Museum also has descriptions in English.
