One of the unique historic sights of Norway is a ship "Skibladner", built in 1854. It got its name in honor of the ship, which, according to mythology, the god Freyr belonged.

"Skibladner" - the world's oldest paddle steamer passenger, who despite his age still on track. During the summer, he rolls the tourists on the lake Mjøsa. 2 August 1856 "Skibladner" was first launched. In 1888. ship was renovated: a body extended and installed a new steam engine. Throughout its history, the ship sank twice, but each time after lifting it to the surface of the subject to a thorough reconstruction.

July 14, 2005. (for the first time in Norway) steamer gained the status of a moving monument to history.
