Merchants estate complex, stretched along the two main streets of the old Balakovo, once belonged to the richest man in town - Anisim Mikhailovich Maltsev. Tightly sealed together at home with the letter "G" were built in the mid-nineteenth century.

Barton began to build more Trofimovich Mikhail Maltsev (the father of the last owner) - salotoplёnnogo host plant, and later hlebopromyshlennik millionaire who left his sons a decent capital and profitability .  Construction of the estate began with the angular one-story house of red brick, which later joined up all the other buildings .  The architectural line of the estate on the one hand completes the spacious carriage house, on the other hand - a garden, enclosed openwork forged fence .  The two-storey building with a loft coach house in a turret with a weather vane and wrought-iron "candlesticks" with pins on each door is not associated with its purpose outbuilding .  This coach house is more like an old-town hotel .  In the attic of the building there is a figure of 1891 - perhaps it's the later construction of the estate Maltseva .  Luxury, which contained rare breeds of horses due to the passion Anisim Mikhailovich trotters Kyrgyz breed differ endurance and speed .  Maltsev was one of the famous horse breeders in the Samara and Saratov provinces . 

On the pillars of the fence of the garden of the manor survived long enough pins, designed for massive vases, adorned once one of the facades of the manor. In Soviet times, a magnificent pavilion with a turret has been broken, cut down trees and garden area took dance floor. Today the manor lost its former glory, has retained many architectural features: sandriks over the windows, low semicircles rare Attica and simple separating floors cornice.
